FIFTH GRADE
An education truly can help you change the world, even if it doesn’t always seem like it when you’re studying. While school might not seem all that important when you are going through it, it will absolutely help you in the long run!
School doesn’t merely teach facts and figures and numbers and letters. School is crucial in preparing children to become their future selves. As someone who has worked a number of jobs, I’ve found that each class I’ve taken has taught me something about myself and has pointed me toward my specific career direction. |
My goal is for students to feel ownership of their room, their work, their relationships, etc. I want students to feel invested in their learning, and I don't think that is possible when students feel like visitors in the classroom. It is "our room" instead of "my room", because even though my name is above the door, it is "our room" for the year.
